Melker Schörling Scholarship
The knowledge and experience of our people is the foundation of Securitas. The Melker Schörling Scholarship offers our employee the opportunity to develop that knowledge and experience professionally. The scholarship is open to frontline employees within Securitas and is offered annually to one or more employees subject to successful application.
The purpose of the scholarship is to offer training opportunities within a specific area/topic in another country where Securitas operates. Applicants are invited to choose subjects themselves, within the security operation. One possibility is to choose an area close to the company strategy, which is to further focus on specialization and customer segmentation. This would allow the scholar to deepen skills and knowledge in this area and exploit their new skills and experience on return to their home office location.
The span of the scholarship period can range from a few days to an extended period depending on the nature of the area to study. After the study visit the scholar is required to make a written report, describing impressions and interesting matters from the study visit and which ideas/models he/she will bring back home.
